The 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Is Better Than Ever, Here's Why

The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray was the most awarded vehicle on the planet last year– including being named the 2014 North American Car of the Year. For 2015, the Corvette Stingray packs even more punch with a host of new features, colours and options, making it easier than ever for customers to customize Stingray how they’d like.

Naturally, the top-of-the-line Corvette Z06 has returned for 2015 and it’s 6.2L LT4 V8 packs a mighty 650 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque. Elsewhere, customers can now order the Stingray with a Performance Data Recorder
, OnStar with 4G LTE, and two new design packages.

Stingray drivers can now order their vehicles with either the Atlantic or Pacific Design Packages, both of which feature a unique combination of colours, parts, and accessories.

The Atlantic Design Package is inspired by the luxury and performance of private jets seen at European vacation destinations. It is offered exclusively on Z51-equipped convertibles in either 2LT or 3LT trim levels and features:

• Z06- style front-splitter
• Shark Grey exterior vents,  hood “stinger” graphics and tonneau inserts
• Chrome Torque wheels
• Stingray underhood liner and floor mats
• Custom splash guards, rear license plate frame and valve stems
• Custom luggage
• Available in all colours offered on Stingray

Meanwhile, the Pacific Design Package takes its inspiration from West Coast drivers who attend track days. It’s also available in 3LT or 2LT trim levels but, unlike the Atlantic package, its only available on Z51-equipped coupes. You get:

• “CFZ” carbon fibre ground effects package and visible carbon roof panel
• Satin black full-length racing stripes
• Stain black wheels with red stripes and Stingray centre caps
• Carbon Flash rear spoiler, wing mirrors, and badges
• Competition sport seats in red or black
• Carbon fibre interior trim with Stingray sill plates and floor mats
• Custom splash guards and rear license plate frame
• Indoor car cover
  Available in choice of Torch Red, Black, Arctic White, Blade Silver and Shark Grey paint (new for 2015!)

The 2015 Chevrolet Corvette also features a load of other new options and features, which include:
