C1 Corvette Gets Packaged as Life-Size Toy Car

This life-sized model car box holds a real 1954 Corvette C1, a special gift Chris Graff created to celebrate his father’s retirement.
This is surely one of the best gifts a Chevy fan could receive.
Chris Graff decided to gift his father, Hank, a C1 Corvette upon retirement.
But, instead of merely surprising his father with the vehicle, Chris decided to do things a little differently: After a seven month vehicle restoration Chris presented his father with a full-size 1954 C1 Corvette that appears to be sealed in a package, like a giant toy car.
Designed from a trailer, the life-sized “model box” even features a glass wall on one side and a recommendation it should be used by those “age 16 or up”. The trailer/car-box even features LED lights to illuminate the Corvette at night.
At first glance the packaging is all too deceiving and the result is a car carrier unlike any other.
“We fell in love with a car box and we thought we’d build a car box at one point in time. That transformed from a trailer to a box to move a car around in,” said Tom Kelly, one of the projects’ managers. “We hated the feeling of going to a car show and having to cancel because of the weather.”
It’s a neat idea and definitely one of the best automotive gifts we’ve ever seen.
