The all-new Camaro was revealed to the world
less than three months ago and already Chevrolet has taken the top off, having unveiled the convertible version just three weeks ago
.

Now, thanks to an ingenious use of 360-degree camera, Chevrolet has created an interactive YouTube experience that allows viewers to fully immersive themselves in the top-down freedom afforded by Chevrolet’s latest convertible.

Viewers watching from a compatible Android or Apple smarthphone can turn their phones in any direction and, thanks to the power of 3D cameras, will be able to look in any direction.

Those viewing from a desktop or laptop can simply move the camera by navigating the on-screen buttons located in the top-left hand corner of the screen.

Onlookers get a chance to experience the Camaro convertible from a variety of different angles –on-road, inside the cockpit, outside the cockpit and more– and in each scenario the camera can be turned a full 360-degrees.

The 2016 Camaro Convertible, like the coupe, is available with three engines (2.0L inline-four; 3.6L V6; and the LT1 6.2L V8) and can two transmissions (six-speed manual and eight-speed automatic) for a total of six different powertrain combinations.

Both versions will hit the market either later this year or early 2016.
