Chevrolet Partners With AutoShare To Help Out University Students

University-bound students in Toronto will get a helping hand courtesy of Chevrolet this year, as the company has teamed up with AutoShare to help ease the sting of costly transportation expenses for students attending Ryerson University, the University of Toronto, and York University.

The newly minted partnership will see the company provide 16 vehicles to be used in the AutoShare fleet, plus registration fees will be waived courtesy of Chevrolet.

AutoShare users on the aforementioned campuses will be also treated to $6 hourly driving rates on all Chevrolet models, which helps students save an extra 35-40 percent versus the standard rate.

Students will be able to choose from the 2015 Chevrolet Trax, Sonic and Cruze, a trio of compact vehicles perfectly suited to traverse the bustling streets of downtown Toronto.

“We are thrilled to be working with AutoShare to provide university students in Toronto with this unique opportunity to find new roads, both on and off the campus,” said John Roth, GM Canada’s VP of sales, service and marketing. “This partnership provides around-the-clock access to a range of fun-to-drive and stylish Chevrolets…”

It’s a great way to get young people behind the wheel of a new Chevrolet vehicle while also helping them save money. Sounds like a win-win partnership to us!
