All-New 2016 Camaro To Be Unveiled In May
Just days after announcing that the fifth-generation Camaro has achieved landmark sales
, Chevrolet has announced the new, yet-unseen 2016 Camaro will make its world debut on May 16, in Detroit, MI.
The sixth-generation vehicle will be revealed after a day-long Camaro celebration, which will see thousands of Chevrolet descend on Belle Isle, a 982-acre island park that will host the Chevrolet Detroit Belle Island Granx Prix.
“This is only the sixth time we have introduced an all-new Camaro. We wanted to share the moment with the customers and fans who have helped make Camaro both America’s favourite performance car for the past five years, and a cultural icon since 1967,” said Todd Christensen, Camaro marketing manager.
Suffice to say, it sounds like an event that Camaro fans won’t want to miss.
Best of all the event is FREE. However, registration is limited so if you’re looking to attend you should head to the new Camaro landing page
ASAP and get your name down.
The fifth-generation Camaro is (nearly) dead. Long live the sixth generation.
